Partners: Promachonas Cultural Association “Oi Akrites” & Dangerous Productions

Our office undertook the entire scientific documentation and content curation for the production of a historical documentary dedicated to the border village of Promachonas, Serres, and its people. Our contribution was structured around three key pillars:

1. Systematic Historical Research: We conducted an in-depth study of archival material, primary historical sources, and official documents, establishing a solid scientific foundation for the historical trajectory of the region.
2. Oral History & Interviews: We designed and conducted a series of targeted interviews with local residents, custodians of local memory, and experts, capturing live testimonies and personal experiences.
3. Documentation: We processed the vast volume of historical data and oral testimonies to form the raw material and narrative framework for the documentary’s script.

The documentary is a co-production between the local Cultural Association “Oi Akrites” and the production company Dangerous Productions. The core vision of this endeavor is to preserve and promote the historical memory and rich cultural heritage of Promachonas.
